As of this week, the ice is thick enough to ice fish on Strawberry Reservoir, Utah. Anglers are riding snowmobiles and atv’s across the ice to navigate to their ice fishing holes.

Ice Fisherman are catching mostly Cutthroat Trout averaging about 22 inches long through the ice; using white and/or chartreuse jigs tipped with rainbow powerbait. Drop your line all the way down to the bottom, then bring it back up about 2 feet from the bottom, then begin jigging.
